Heyo, just been going over my online accounts and I seem to have found an issue. Sent feedback already so this is just for people to know.
I use passkeys for all my accounts, no need to know passwords and it's more secure. I recently remade a bunch of passkeys that I previously had, though I spotted a bug in some sites.
A while ago I set a passkey for protonmail within samsung pass. I've gone to re make it, my phone says it was successful, windows says it was successful, the website itself says it failed. Funnily enough roblox does the exact same thing. I had to use google password manager instead to store those passkeys. Every other website worked just fine. (Samsung pass and google password manager are both places passkeys can be stored on a samsung phone, google not being as secure)
Not exactly sure why things are breaking, could be a samsung pass bug or a bug in how those websites handle passkeys. The important bit is it used to work, now it doesn't and I have to use the less secure google password manager for those two passkeys. A tad annoyed but hopefully I'll check in a month or two and it'll randomly work
Oh and if someone has troubleshooting tips in the replies.
Tried 3 different computers
Cleared cache partition
Made sure the old passkeys were deleted
Rebooted multiple times
Oh and I still have my 2 yubikey series 5 devices with my passkeys. It's just nice having them on my phone too
