I am writing to express my interest and make a formal request for the development and launch of a cloud service by Samsung that mirrors the features and functionality of Apple's iCloud.

As a loyal Samsung user, I have been consistently impressed by the innovation and quality of your products. However, I have noticed a gap in the seamless integration and synchronization of data across devices, which is crucial in today’s digital age. Apple's iCloud service offers a highly integrated ecosystem that allows users to store, back up, and access their data effortlessly across all their devices. This capability significantly enhances user experience and productivity.

Therefore, I kindly request Samsung to consider developing a similar cloud service that provides:

  1. Unified Storage: A centralized storage solution that allows users to store photos, videos, documents, and other files, accessible from any Samsung device.
  2. Automatic Backup: Regular, automatic backups of user data to ensure data safety and easy recovery in case of device loss or failure.
  3. Cross-Device Synchronization: Seamless synchronization of data across all Samsung devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart home products.
  4. Family Sharing: Options for family members to share storage space and access certain files collaboratively.
  5. Enhanced Security: Robust security measures to protect user data, including encryption and two-factor authentication.
  6. Integration with Samsung Services: Compatibility and integration with existing Samsung services and applications to create a cohesive user experience.

I believe that implementing such a cloud service will not only enhance the user experience but also solidify Samsung’s position as a leader in innovation and customer satisfaction.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing the continued advancements and innovations from Samsung.

Ahhhh Righto. Sorry, you did not make that bit clear. Basically, you want Samsung to store your photos, etc, on their cloud servers. So yes, currently, one needs to be synced to Microsoft OneDrive in order to get ones photos on other devices.
To submit your request, please use your Samsung members app. Head to the Support section and tap on Ask questions. Good luck.1721740848694.jpg

Samsung Cloud/One Drive are close but not as seamless, but the Samsung and Microsoft O365 are best buddies, which easily trumps Apple

To be fair, your points 2-6 are pretty much covered by Samsung Cloud. But yes, regarding point 1, I'd like to see more integration with Samsung and less with Microsoft.

I would agree for most part for 2 to 6 except 3 for tablets format is different, and when it comes to onedrive It's a pain to view the videos uploaded to one drive and the quality of it getting reduced is just unexpectable

What in particular are you referring to with regards to tablets. I use both a Tab S8 Ultra, a Tab S9 Ultra and a S23U. I find the cross device synchronisation impeccable. Even between my Sony TV and Windows PC.

I hear you, and yes, I wouldn't object. Currently paying £1.99 to Microsoft for extra OneDrive storage. I'd happily pay that to Samsung for the same service. Feed it back, you never know what Samsung is planning next.

I use Tab7+ and as phone I have a Note 10+ and S24 Ultra, when I first bought the Tab7+, I've set it up with my samsung account there was some differences between the phone and the tablet back when Tab7+ first launched. But you are much more credible as I can see, cause you have the latest versions. So I take your word for it.
