Why the hell do they do such dumb ***** ... contacts should be listed in alphabetical order, with a section of favorites. In no realm of reality do I need a list of 30 plus names of recently added contacts nobody gives a flying ***** who i added recently (of all the absolutely idiotic ridiculous ***** to add) that's why they're in alphabetical order, no one cares who was added recently ... Samsung please please please fix this ... at least give me the option to get rid of it because I bet you dollars to Donuts most people just like me have no interest in who they added last it doesn't freaking matter. also who's brilliant idea is it to move the search bar to the other side of the screen top vs bottom or left vs right and not give me the option to move it back ... this isn't the first time they've done this but it's stupid ... sure not everybody wants the search bar on the top or the Google voice typing button on the right ... obviously you moved it because someone said they didn't like it there but that only accounts for part of the population .... why move them to the other side of the screen Without the option To do both? Why don't I get to pick where I liked it better??? Lame lame lame ... you're supposed to be better than this. Also the battery life is less than half... why is it every time you guys try to update something it breaks more stuff .... and why does it always add new stuff I didn't sign up for ...I didn't sign up for the extra games I don't want them on my phone.... and those are just the things I found in the first two hours with this update God knows what I'll find in the days to come of actually using this ...I'll say it again lame

Well some people don't like when samsung messes with their settings or the look. Imagine what privacy settings they are changing to "on". That's the first thing that crosses my mind. Also when you buy a phone they advertise the software looking like this, then 2 years down the road they completely changed it. It is called false advertising. Also my flip battery took a huge hit I use to charge it once a day now it doesn't make it through my 10hr tp 12hr work day. That's a huge deal breaker for me. When it's idling it gets HOT in my pocket. I rather ditch the brand then go through their customer service who blames you or your handling of the device. Even though we all know it was the update that made a phone unreliable. When I bought the phone it is advertised with x amount of battery life. After a update it barely gets half of it.

It's terrible. I hate it and will probably switch from Samsung for the first time ever.

I second everything you said! But you worded it clearer just to be able to customise the items that are not able to be customised anymore is enough of an issue. It's not about being spoilt or irked. Have you ever tried to help an 80 year old use it? I do daily. Up until recently we had it setup so he could do the needed things. Example, keeps forgetting where contacts are, looks for the yellow button we placed on the home screen. Only now, it's red. Not a problem for able bodied users or younger non dementia users but that one "small" change is causing him fear and chaos. I have more examples from university students and disabled students, dyslexics and lots of other conditions, not just my 80 year old Dad, who I want to explain can't remember yesterday but is still fitting locks part time at his age perfectly. These things are all important and the whole point of the upgrades and adding a.i is meant to be helpful, for me as an IT support tech it's annoying and I am hitting the wrong buttons in a hurry due to muscle memory and having a Samsung since the Note 2. I'm now forced to look at older models with the previous operating system so my Dad can hopefully use his phone again, it's also upsetting him and he's almost distraught. Imagine being old enough to fix locks but not make a phone call! Sorry for banging on!! 😎

This update just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I can't even get my head around what the designers were thinking. My eyes strain just to read the battery percentage and that's the smallest of many user unfriendly features added.

yeah it was rude. whole point of android, which is based on Linux btw, was to F* NOT copying f* Apple. throw out that developer, get back to your roots - apple is for mainstream *****. give a role back option and thing twice next time - oh and revert all back that people hate now - they are disturbed and are going to hate you and won't buy a samsung anymore
