can you remove the now bar cause its rather annoying and in the way especially now that when im playing music in my car and the spotify  widget on the lock screen is no more and  is now at the  way bottom  and I cant slide and swap songs I have to look way down at the bottom or is there a way to get the widget right below the time on the lock screen again

You can turn it off if you want.

Settings, lock screen, now bar. Then you can adjust how it works it just disable it

You can 😊 simply go to settings, lock screen and AOD- go to now bar and turn it off.

Tried that didn't work I cant set it up how i used to have before this dumb update

You can't. Some updates cannot be undone for security reasons and the one ui 7 main update was one of those

There is simply no other way for multimedia controls on AOD except the Now bar, which for me is tiny and wrong placed on my S23. Even the default android notifications system on AOD would look to me as big improvement, but I guess Samsung decided to reinvent the wheel again - giving us no options than that Apple-like *****. No options to reposition it.... No options to resize it.... Even no options to make it look like OneUI 6 at least.

that is not a solution, the original widget at the screen center won't appear anymore

and that removes the media player controls in the notification bar and it is also gone in the lock screen... disabling that stupid now bar doens't help at all

Completely agree. This update really ruins the usability of a phone that used to work well.
