Why the hell do they do such dumb ***** ... contacts should be listed in alphabetical order, with a section of favorites. In no realm of reality do I need a list of 30 plus names of recently added contacts nobody gives a flying ***** who i added recently (of all the absolutely idiotic ridiculous ***** to add) that's why they're in alphabetical order, no one cares who was added recently ... Samsung please please please fix this ... at least give me the option to get rid of it because I bet you dollars to Donuts most people just like me have no interest in who they added last it doesn't freaking matter. also who's brilliant idea is it to move the search bar to the other side of the screen top vs bottom or left vs right and not give me the option to move it back ... this isn't the first time they've done this but it's stupid ... sure not everybody wants the search bar on the top or the Google voice typing button on the right ... obviously you moved it because someone said they didn't like it there but that only accounts for part of the population .... why move them to the other side of the screen Without the option To do both? Why don't I get to pick where I liked it better??? Lame lame lame ... you're supposed to be better than this. Also the battery life is less than half... why is it every time you guys try to update something it breaks more stuff .... and why does it always add new stuff I didn't sign up for ...I didn't sign up for the extra games I don't want them on my phone.... and those are just the things I found in the first two hours with this update God knows what I'll find in the days to come of actually using this ...I'll say it again lame

Why are you casting aspersions on people who don't like an update? Maybe it's fine for you but not for others?
So far the changes I have seen have just been annoying. Why on earth was the "swipedown" menu from the top changed to be a separate notifs and shortcut tray depending which side you swipe? Thankfully there was a way to revert it but it was basically the first thing I did after updating lol.
The actual look of it is so bloated. Unfortunately I have to spend more time looking to change things back that have changed to something annoying / not useful. It's less that I have that time on my hands and more that it's annoying me enough that I have to look up how to sort it. Plus, we are on a forum and nobody posting regularly on a forum has any right to get on at others about not having free time, lol.

Pull down the side that shows the shortcuts, pull it down again until the pencil shows at the top. Click that then click Panel Settings at the top left. Then you can choose Together instead of Separate. I assume that's what you were talking about cos that's the first thing that bugged me, haha. Still not looked into the weirdly blobby icon sizes yet. I hate that the height of the notifications is like triple what it used to be, it looks so ugly. If I wanted a bloody iPhone I would have gone and got one!!

More then 3957 views and only 2 people with same problem? I cant believe, reddit is full of people complaining about one ui 7. Why did you change menu app order to vertical? Why? Why did the search is now at bottom, in a terrible place? Why did the settings search changed location? I will flash the firmware to one ui 6, this is just so bad. F... samsung

I came here to find how to fix them, which I did in one case, but not the other. Isn't that what community forums are for?
It's one thing to make UI updates, but it doesn't make sense to make changes with no way to roll them back or at least change them, especially when it affects our regular use.
It's working for you? Well, good for you - but the whole point of Android is to be flexible, not take away things that we used. (Referring to things that I can't change back)
"simple things" can be intrinsic to the way others use their devices. No need to be so condescending, is there?
