No option to change home screen grid size m

I don't seem to have an option to change grid size on the home screen.  From what I have read I should find the option in the follow location (Settings > Home screen > Home screen grid), but there is no option on my new S24. Any help would be much appreciated.

The option does not exist on my phone and I don't have Easy Mode on.

this solved my problem. i changed from easy mode and then all grid came back as before

Thank you! You are the first person to provide a response that made sense. Easy mode was the problem. It did not make things easy!
