WhatsApp Status Problem

Hello, I have a slight problem.

I just installed a new WhatsApp update, and I was wondering if there was a fix to my problem. 

Before, the "About" section on your Profile, where you can insert a little description, was permanent, and didnt need to be updated.

However, with the new update, it is now on a timer, and there is no "never change" option. 

I do not want to keep updating my "About", and I really want to keep my description on it, so that people can see what my WhatsApp number is for.

Is there any way to turn it back to before, or any word if they will fix this? 

My other phone (S21) doesnt have this problem.

What happens when the time expires

It goes to blank. Which I'm not wanting at all. Before, there was an option for "never", and even earlier, there was no timer at all.

@Anonymous User: The time limit on both the WhatsApp Status and the 'What's happening?' section of user profiles appears to be an embedded design choice by the developers. While it may not be ideal, you will be required to manually update this feature when the allotted timeframe expires.
