Hello,
I am a user of S Note application with my devices (Galaxy note 2014, Galaxy tab A with s-pen, Note 9) and i am planning to upgrade to s9 plus or s10 plus.
As i have seen, S Note is obsolete, and is replaced with Samsung Notes.
However, doing the test of searching a handwriting in Greek using samsung notes that Note 9 has, it fails. It can search english handwriting and greek text, but fails to search greek handwriting. This happens even if i change the default language to Greek in my mobile phone (Note 9)
As I am using heavily this feature , the fact that samsung notes does not support it, makes it a deal breaker and prohibits me from buying the S9/S10 plus tablet.
SNote app in my old Galaxy tab A and my Note 9 searches greek handwriting.
Could you please verify if this is the case, that indeed Samsung Notes does not support
search in handwriting other than English, or am i missing anything?
Thank you

I found the solution myself. All one has to do is to navigate to Settings->Handwriting Language and set the Language s/he wants to be searchable.
Note: Handwritten text that was written before adjusting this setting above will not be searchable. You will have to write it from scratch if you want to be searchable.
