I know, I have the latest version of Google Play System on my S9+, but it doesn't show up in the settings because Samsung stopped supporting the S9 series two years ago. Date of Google Play System is still January 2023, but in Apps I can see that I have latest version for my S9+.
Samsung once updated all its phones, no matter how old they were, because they were all affected by a major security risk, and many were still in use. So my S5 mini received an extraordinary update, if I remember correctly, in 2019.

Of course, if you convert this 6 into 9 in S6 π
Now I'm going to backup photos from my S24 ultra to my S21 ultra, losing 10+ years of Google Maps Timelines has warned me that Google could easily "lose" my backup of photos just like it deleted my Timelines. π£π§π₯΄

I got an email from Google saying that maybe my timeline was deleted because they were having some issues, and even though I had a backup of my timeline, almost everything is gone and I can't get it back. I'm not the only one, reddit is flooded with posts about deleting timelines and it seems that those who followed Google's advice and downloaded the data are affected, and Google somehow deleted the data from their phones too. π€ͺ
