How to hide content on whatsapp, but show sender name??

Hey guys, I am having the worst time with this phone, moving over from Huawei.

my phone doesn't wake the lock screen when I have messages unless I use edge lighting which is annoying as I don't really want to use edge lighting 

Also, I am trying to find a way to have the sender name show on WhatsApp notifications, but not the content, can I find an option? No I cannot! HELP before I throw it in the bin haha

Hi,
Had a look at settings
On WhatsApp
And can't find any setting
To just show username and not the content

On your mobile you could go settings notifications and set it brief rather than detailed

Hey Steve, thanks! I've just tried brief and it still shows the content. Driving me mad haha

But the screen not waking when I get message is the worst bit. And I don't want to use edge lighting haha
