How to develop a FaceWidget (or a similar notification)?

Which is android code to show a widget before the unlock screen like youtube or pi music player? So that you can tap a button and make an immediate effect without typing your password? I have developed a custom twitter app and I'd like to show a widget with latest tweets in the unlock screen like the other mentioned Face Widgets are doing.

But there's also WhatsApp method for this: creating a notification, even with quick buttons.

@Guiliohome: Please can you confirm the model number and current Android version of your device, and I will look into this for you.
In the meantime, if you're on one of the more recent Android versions, you can add app shortcuts to your lock screen by going to Settings > Lock Screen > App Shortcuts. For lock screen notifications please go to Settings > Lock Screen > Notifications > View Style > Detailed > Hide Content (Off).
