Every time I play a game app on my S10 phone, a notification appears in the notification area from Game Booster. If I press on it, there's no option to disable it. If I choose 'notification settings' I'm told that it was Game Booster that showed the notification but any attempt to disable it from showing notifications is not allowed. The enable/disable slider/button is deactivated. Why am I not allowed to stop this thing (whatever it is) from spamming me with notifications that I'm not interested in? That's the behaviour of malware rather than something useful.
I just want it to stop.
I've googled this a bit and some people suggest disabling the 'game launcher' but that makes no difference. I suspect that's a different thing.
I understand that Samsung think they want to help us with the software they pre-install, but everything should be able to be turned off if the user wants. Microsoft was forced to do it on Windows. Apple are being pressured. Do we need to start a movement to get the EU to ban Samsung from forcing us to use things we don't want to also?
I fully expect this to get no official Samsung staff member to comment on this.

Are you that dense to give the same wrong answer TWICE? THE POINT IS - WE ARE FORCED TO HAVE GAME BOOSTER WE DO NOT WANT THAT TURNS ITSELF BACK ON BEHIND YOUR BACK AND CAN'T BE DISABLED!

The 'allow notifications' switch is greyed out so I can't disable notifications and they keep appearing. I never use this app! It's bloatware that I do not want! Please fix this ASAP.

@rosco331: It should be possible to disable notifications for Game Launcher and Game Booster by opening Game Launcher > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Settings > Notifications > Show notifications > Toggle this option off.
Navigate back to the Game Launcher landing page > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Game Booster > Block during game > Notifications (toggle this on).
Game Launcher is an embedded app, and cannot be removed from your device completely, however it is possible to disable it by heading to Settings > Apps > Game Launcher > Disable (located at the bottom of the screen).

Thanks for the reply AndrewL but as I said, this option is greyed out so I can't turn 'Allow notifications' off. Any other suggestions?

This is great if you want Game Booster to show on top. But I disabled this permission on purpose because I don't want game booster on top, and I should not be constantly harrased by a game booster notification that I can't disable, trying to bully me into turning the permission back on. This is not acceptable. How do we get it to stop?

I think many would rather prefer the option to completely remove Game Booster since it opens forcefully in the background and even appears in the notification bar while playing. Some people don't need it and don't want it. The option to turn off the notification is grayed out because apparently Samsung decided we must use it. Sorry but that is very annoying.
