Green line on WhatsApp Video shares

Hi folks,

I got the Android 12 update yesterday.. updated fine (I have cleared cache too).

This morning I sent a video from my using WhatsApp and notice a green line at the left side of the screen.

The video is absolutely fine and plays as it should on the phone.

Has anyone else had this issue and any way to resolve it?

Yes i think it was the android 12 update but I did a Samsung update few days ago and the problem is now fixed on my phone

Videos I send/receive either have the green line down the side or are fully distorted since I got my new S21 two weeks ago - so frustrating! Anyone heard anything about a fix? Tried all the usual stuff as well as what WhatsApp and o2 have advised (one thing WhatsApp suggested was checking with network provider for APN settings) - just going round in circles now.

If you do Samsung update it should fix itself I did this Thursday on s21 ultra and it is now fixed also in this column someone has put a temporary solution which may help you it was caused by Google android 12 update

I still haven't got the update. I think it's not available for my region again. Is there a way to force it?

No update in Costa Rica yet, I hope to get it ASAP.

It's being gradually rolled out.. I got the update on my Ultra last week but wife's 21 plus hasn't yet

As you and orthers have mentioned, downscaling the resolution is only a temporary solution, a surrogate solution

Yes that was temporary but I did a an update from Samsung on Thursday and it is now fixed hope this helps

On my  samsung it didn't help , northing has changed so far.
