Hey guys!
I use Galaxy S21 with the latest firmware (One UI 5.1, Android 13). Whenever I edit and save any photo in the Google Photos app, I get a popup "Unsynced photos". - I open it and see the text stating the photos were changed in a web version or on another device. However, I edited the photos on my phone, not on another device. So every time I edit photos, I have to manually approve to sync them.
The experience is frustrating and I'm losing my mind as to why the app forgot what happened 10 seconds ago when I edited the photo in it.
I tried clearing the cache, and reinstalling the Google photos app - no luck
Does anyone face it as well? Any tips?
I tried to find my issue in the community, but w

@Iliash: To troubleshoot the issue, please try editing a photo as you would normally, then hit the 3 dots in the bottom right of the screen and select 'Save as copy'. When you go to sync your photos to Google Photos, do you get the same notification? My thought is that Google Photos is recognising the changes you have made to the original image, but if you save a copy, then delete the original, then there shouldn't be an issue. Let me know if this helps.

Yes, backup is enabled for sure. If I just make photos, they are synced correctly

Andrew, thank you for your answer. You are right, I tried your suggestion and saved the changed photo as a copy. This way Google correctly syncs the photo automatically and doesn't give me an error.
