Mvh. Kasper
Translation: Google discover (slide left from home screen) has stopped working out of the blue. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how to get it working again?
I've tried turning it off and on, switching to Samsung's news stream, which works but is bad, I've also tried turning it off and on in Google settings and of course I've tried restarting the phone. Nothing has helped.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? It could be something I've turned on or off in my pocket, but I can't figure out what it could be?
The phone is an S23Ultra 256GB on the latest software, all apps are updated.
Yours sincerely, Casper

I have an S23 and S8 Tab both stopped working same day 10th of december. Slide right action that is. Google app show discover feed as normal. but you can't swipe right from home screen no more. I have cleared cache on goole app, uninstall updates, I wiped cache partition, tried samsung oneUI laucher. Samsung feed working ok, google discover not. tried Nova laucher with google companion no luck neither. I have come to the conclusion it can't be something with the device itself. Either it is tied to my google account or it is service wide error. As they are many more of you experiancing the same erorr these days. it must be on to Goggle to fix it. If anyone finds a way please do share

There is a solution - at least for me, problem is not reproducing anymore. I am not sure what exactly helped me to resolve this issue. For sure that was not related with enabling/disablng discovery, clearing memory and cache of google application or restarting the phone as I've made all of it earlier but no changes. Google application itself was working for me, I've been able to enable discover from applications, only swipe right was not bringing it to the screen.
I have reinstalled edge that I am using as my default browser. I have also change the default browser setting for a moment to chrome, then switched it back to edge. Right after that swipe right started to working again, so it must be somehow related with these steps, either change of the default browser setting or reinstalling of the default browser.
So try it out, go to settings -> applications -> default applications and change default browser settings and/or reinstall your default browser.

hmm. didn't work for me. I have only default samsung internet. Not sure installing chrome will help resolve this. I added the google widget on my homescreen pressing the "G" takes me directly to googe app and my discover news. I guess it goes quicker than swiping :). I'm giving it a rest for now. Not sure it is worth the time and effort. We are left to our creativity resolving this. Happy for you though enjoy!

Hello. I have solved the issue. S25 new, installed with smart switch.
problem: google discover missing on home screen right and in google chrome home tab
solution tried: reset cache screen. power off then hold down volume up and power button while connected with usb to computer. that didn't work
solution: change default browser from Chrome to Firefox and then back to Chrome. This fixed Google Discover on the home screen right.
2nd solution: clear cache and data in Chrome this fixed Google Discover on the chrome homepage.
