This is a known occasional glitch @Emily27
If your using mobile data to update the app, then switch to Wi-Fi or via versa to attempt to update the app.
Another option is to close the app down and then long press on the app icon, and tap on the i and then on location and Clear Cache.
If you perform a forum search you should see previous threads with tips in about this too.

My phone isn't letting me install the bixby app as I got this phone factory resetted so I had to install half of the apps I need
