I have a Galaxy S8 smartphone that has been great until now!! I got it through Brighthouse so it cost me a fortune!! When I get a text message there is no notification tone to alert me that I have a text message -- why not?? A week ago I did a soft reset i.e. turned it off then on again, but this did not solve the issue. I then did a full factory reset -- this seemed to work for only 2 days and now the message tone is not alerting me again. What it going on? I am Registered Disabled and cannot work so can't afford a major repair bill i.e. sending it to a "techinician" to sort out, and I need my phone when out in my Motability vehicle "just in case", so what are my options?
