I've followed this thread hoping that there is NO solution! For all we know a few of the people interested in bypassing Secure Folder credentials will not be as genuine as they claim.

I want a Secure Folder that is, actually, secure. I want a Secure Folder where if you don't know the password then you don't get in - 100%. I want to know that if my phone is snatched from my hand whilst unlocked, all my banking apps which I keep in my Secure Folder - for a reason - remain secure, and are not vulnerable to "forgot password" backdoor or workarounds.

Hoping for a secure folder which is only secure unless you've forgotten your password is delusional.

Solution is different for different countries, but the one below worked for me... I had 2 choices reset or delete, I tried to reset but since my phone is from different country it did not work so I choose to delete and re-install, but I tried the below option which were provided by SAMSUNG expert

TO RESET THE PASSWORD

Also, check if the Secure Folder app and the updated Samsung Account app:

Option -1
Settings > Apps > Samsung Account > More options(...) > tap 'Uninstall update' (Samsung Account v14.0.00.11)

(In case of reset Password needed) Settings > tap and sign in 'Samsung Account' on the top > run 'Secure Folder' > mistype Password > tap 'Forgot password' > tap 'Reset' on the reset Password popup > enter New Password

OPTION-2

So, you can reset the PIN or Pattern through the menu. (required to sign in with Samsung account)
The Forgot PIN or Forgot Pattern menu will be shown only if the 'Reset with Samsung account' option(Default : Off) is enabled when creating the Secure Folder). However, if the 'Reset with Samsung account' option(Default : Off) is turned Off, the menu will not appear.

OPTION -3
Submit the report /query via Samsung members app on your phone
Once you submit the report, Samsung Technical Team will be able to investigate the issue and provide further support to resolve your query and you'll Get Response Notification From Samsung.

TO DELETE AND REINSTALL

If you try to enter PIN or Pattern incorrectly 14 times(Android U OS, 20 times for T OS and earlier version), there will be Uninstall Secure Folder menu on the login screen, and you can uninstall and reinstall the Secure Folder.

*****************Note: Once uninstalled, all the content and data inside Secure Folder will be deleted.*****************

OPTION-1 If you want to re-install Secure Folder, go to Settings -> Lock Screen and security. Scroll down to where it says Secure Folders. This will put it back in.

OPTION-2 Go to Settings and search for Secure folder and then choose the relevant option and follow the steps

TIP= REBOOT your phone after UNINSTALLING the secure folder app

The only option that works is this:

TO RESET THE PASSWORD

Also, check if the Secure Folder app and the updated Samsung Account app:

Settings > Apps > Samsung Account > More options(...) > tap 'Uninstall update' (Samsung Account v14.0.00.11)

(In case of reset Password needed) Settings > tap and sign in 'Samsung Account' on the top > run 'Secure Folder' > mistype Password > tap 'Forgot password' > tap 'Reset' on the reset Password popup > enter New Password

Its very confusing because I found the update under my profile in settings. Nothing under Apps.

Good luck ecause I had to delete my entire Secure Folder and start from scratch.

It's tough, but this is what I would want. I want a Secure Folder which is secure! That means no password = no access. If there is any kind of workaround, then a thief would be able to exploit it. I want to know that if my phone is stolen at least I have the peace of mind that they can try forums like this one all they like, but they won't get into my secure folder, period.
