Hi!
Since One UI 6.1.1, I cannot find a way to export (or save a copy of) a .heif picture as a .jpg.
Before 6.1.1 we just had to edit a picture and the edited file was saved as a jpg. Or save a copy if I remember well.
Now I can't find a way to create a copy of a .heif file as a .jpg without using an external app (something I don't want).
I want to precise that I want to keep all my pictures taken with the camera saved as .heif. It's just that sometimes I need to create a copy as .jpg.
Thank you for any info/advice !

Unfortunately, you can't do it that way anymore.
There's a way of changing file from heif to jpg but it won't make a copy it would instantly change files format.
You can do so by going to my files. Select the picture press rename and change the end part to jpg instead of heif.
Another option is you could take screenshot of the image.
And last option use online or 3rd party convertor tools, Apps
(I'll attached screenshots of how to convert without saving a copy)

Thank you for your answer.
Renaming the file extension is a trick, but it doesn't change the real format of the file and generate problems with many apps...
I suppose all we can do is ask Samsung to add an export option in the Gallery app (or an option to save a copy as jpg or heif).
I'm sure there are many many people with this wish so I hope someone from Samsung reads this...
