Not receiving emails on my galaxy 51 mobile although ok on my laptop. I am not tech savy at 88 years of age, so are there simple ways I can resolve this issue. Any assistance would be appreciated

Which e mail app are you using? Are your email sync settings correct, see these articles for details on the Samsung e mail app and g mail https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/troubleshooting/ https://support.google.com/mail/troubleshooter/2650727?hl=en-GB
Ensure there is not a restriction on Background Data with the app.
sometimes it may be necessary to clear the cache of the email app/ set up the email account in the application again. Ensure there is also sufficient storage in the email account. Sometimes it helps if you Reboot your Device.
You may need to reinstall the app again to see if that helps.

HI James, Don't quite know how it happened but ended up with Samsung Recovery after trying all sorts of solutions and getting frustrated, and this miraculously cleared the problem so now receiving emails. However thanks for your helpful suggestions.
