I think Samsung should introduced a feature that allow us to directly download files in external storage through usb connection, we all know it take too much time to move files and on top of that new phone doesn't have sd card support, they should allow it to substitute removing sd card slot, Few brands are allowing or introduced this feature, like Mi in HyperOs, and my brother like that feature as it save lots of time, if you want to lead the market you should adopte innovative feature to rivals brands to beat them in game, I think that would be a great feature in samsung UI next update

Hi.

I'm sure you can just drag and drop to a Windows PC with usb.

Haven't tried with external storage . But I'm sure you can.

I am taking about mobile and people who use external sdd for storage ( without getting into and all this stuff) i want to suggest how to make it more effective not how to make it complex, by adding more devices to do a simple work , and other brands are doing it

Pretty sure u can already do that, depending on your browser and settings. Same if u're torrenting. Also, a good external drive or even a USB flash, would have high enough speeds to render the transfer time irrelevant anyway, at least on the S24U that I know has 3.2 usb. I'm getting 400 mb/s with the USB stick I'm using.

@Thateho05: It isn't possible to set an SD card as your default storage location, in general, however you do have the option to assign the SD card as the storage location for photos and videos captured on the device.

To do so, open the Camera app > Tap the cog symbol in the top left > Storage location > SD card.

To move files to your SD card, please swipe up from your Home screen > Samsung (folder) > My Files > Images (as an example) > Press and hold on an image, then tap on any others that you'd like to include (or hit 'All' in the top left) > Move > Tap the Back button > SD card > Select a folder, or create a new one > Move here.
