Default internet browser changing on its own

On my Samsung S20FE, my default browser keeps changing to Chrome. I've changed the default setting to Samsung Internet browser about 4 times this week but it keeps changing back. Any idea how to stop it changing and keep the default as Samsung Internet?

Could maybe try a long press on the Chrome icon and disable it ?

I'm having the opposite problem. I continuously have to change my default back to Firefox. I've fully uninstalled (as far as the phone will let me) all Samsung apps or reset them to their factory default and disabled them, but somehow Samsung Internet keeps overriding my default option for browser. Most of the time when I click an external link, I'll be held up with a 'Sign Up for Samsung Internet' prompt in the Samsung Internet browser instead of just launching on the fully installed Firefox app that is kept updated and set as default (repeatedly).
