I'm using an A51 Samsung and have never had a problem. I assumed that the Samsung email app is auto-updated, and I'm not sure how to eliminate the issue if it's a new update that's causing it.
But, while composing an email, I cannot scroll if it is particularly long. This isn't the same as the bug where you can't see what you're typing—although that is annoying, it isn't what this is about.
If I copy and paste a long email draft into the email, it pings back to either the bottom or the top, so I can't even scroll. It pings even when you're still holding down the text that you are trying to scroll, so there's definitely something going on.
I've tried clearing the cache and force-stopping the app. (I originally force-stopped and cleared the cache on the wrong app, thinking that it was actually Gmail.) I've restarted the phone three or four times now, and I'm not finding any resolve."

Try going into app and then uninstall the updates of Android System Webview. Follow the solution mentioned in this thread and you will thank me later. It worked for me like a charm!

I have 2 email addresses, I sent a message from one to the other, on my Samsung tablet. I tried replying to that email and I was able to scroll up and down, everything was normal. BUT I can't reply and scroll on any emails that have come from outside my tablet. How strange is that?
