Since the October software update on my S9, my android auto will no longer project onto my vauxhall intellilink. I have tried changing cables, uninstalling the app and reinstalling, restarting the phone, and many other troubleshooting advices found online and nothing works. The phone seems to recognise it is plugged in however will not project onto the screen.

I have a colleague with the same car but a different android phone which has had the same update and is also having this problem.

Does anybody have fix for this?

@Vanessa28: To begin with, please contact Vauxhall directly to enquire about updating the car stereo software, as it may be experiencing compatibility issues with Android 9. Please can you also try going into Settings > Apps > 3 dots (top right) > Show System Apps > Bluetooth Share / Bluetooth Test > Storage > Clear cache / data. If this doesn't help, go into your Bluetooth settings, select the car stereo and then tap "Forget" or “Unpair” from that device and then restart your phone. If the problem persists then run the hardware test: Samsung Members app > Get Help > Interactive Checks > Run through the Bluetooth test and share the results.

I am still having issues, the only way I can get this working is by uninstalling the app from my phone. Waiting for my phone to connect via bluetooth then plugging in to USB. Press ok on infotainment screen when prompted then follow the install set up on your phone. This should get it connected. The only problem is you have to do this every time you disconnect it from your car.
