A52s camera failed.

I am getting the camera failed message when trying to open camera app. I have restarted the phone,  cleared cache, reset the app, all to no avail.  Camera working on Messenger and Google lens. Any ideas?

Just tried gcam and that works.

Open cam works aswell.

Might be a bug, you can report this to developers via members app "send feedback" explaining what's going on, last thing you can do is back up your data and do factory reset and see if that would solve the issue as if you tried multiple things already and nothing worked, for now you can use 3rd party camera app like Gcam.

Did you clear both the camera app cache and system cache? Might be worth just checking the camera app permissions too

That's a shame, might be heading towards a full backup and system reset then unless anyone else has any thoughts
