Hi
My Samsung Convection Microwave with Hotblast (MC28M6055CK) had developed same issues twice during the warranty and now have got same issue again just few months after the expiry of warranty period.

These issues are as:
1) Stop button stops working when microwave is running. However same button works for initial setup of clock etc. Definitely not a physical button issue hence cannot be caused by misuse etc. Seems a weird badly coded firmware issue.
2) Microwave start button does not work if there are 4 digits on the clock i.e. cannot start any program if time is set 10 or more minutes. As anyone can easily guess this is again a weird badly coded firmware bug.

I believe to protect consumer rights, company should recall this product and fully refund the money.

Anyway unbelievably after research and love for the hot blast and combi hot blast microwave, I ended up buying the 32" Samsung microwave.
My advice pay with your credit card, if it fails, ask for a charge back or section 75 dispute.

Mine had some different issue as while it was in warranty they replaced main controller to fix the problem two times. I have another combination microwave (different brand) with additional feature of multistage cooking. That is much older and but never had any problem. That one has better results when used for baking. Will never buy Samsung again.

My MC28M6055CK started having a problem displaying the numbers so I would see just parts of the digits on the display. Then the start button just stopped working all together. Now I see the display of the partial numbers that are available still to see but the thing doesn't start. One time I disconnected it and after some time it worked one time and the next time I tried to do the same trick it just didn't work.
It is a little over a year and there is no guarantee now I need to go to a technician to see if they can fix it and pay out of pocket.
It is a super expensive microwave and I loved it when it was working. I think this will be the last time I buy a Samsung microwave.

I have had this issue, the failure is due to a design fault causing the display diodes to become leaky and as the keyboard is matrixed with the display also causing keys to stop working, the matrixed nature of the keyboard results in the variable failure depending on mode, keys are combined in the following manner:
1: auto reheat, slim fry, cancel, lock.
2: start button, grill
3: combi, healthy cooking, microwave
4: hot blast auto, hot blast, power defrost.
5: Multi button,dough proof/yoghurt, timer
There is a solution to resolve this failure but I cannot state it here as that's against the community rules. PM me if you want more.
