what size for Drain hose extension for the washing machine

I have a Samsung washing machine - WW80M645OPX

I require a drain hose extension. I bought the Washing Machine Drain Hose 2.5m x 21mm which i got from screwfix - https://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-drain-hose-2-5m-x-21mm/71062?tc=CB6&ds_kid=92700055281954...

I was told it is incorrect size as the hole is too big to connect to the washing machine extension cnonected to waste hose on the washing machinewashing machine connector and extension connector

Not sure if it is a correct size.

Can someone guide me what extension i require to buy?

Did you ever get this sorted? 
We’re at exactly the same place as you in trying to extend the Samsung washing machine drain hose. The extension hose we’ve got from Screwfix has a slight larger end and a normal end. We connected the slightly larger end to the black rubber join using jubilee clips and the  hose connector and it’s leaked at the join 😞 any advice? The end going into the trap seems to be ok.
