What is this compartment insert used for?

What is this blue insert used for in the manual compartment with the blue bit and the syphon cap? and a couple of more questions:

Is it used for washing detergent liquid or fabric softener? and

why didnt I get one included with our WW90T534 machine bought in Feb 2022? and

Where would you get one if you wanted one? 

And what is it called? 

wonder if samsung do supply it and we chucked it away accidentally with the washing machine packaging, I would have thought they put it in the drum with the instruction book and transit bolt blank covers?

Surely it tells you in the instruction manual, what comes with it and what everything is?
Unless you're like me and the first thing you do is bin the manual! Lol.

I have a quick play around hands on the product  .... then a quick skim through the manual if I need to or admit defeat  lol. I will have to dig the manual out then I suppose

It's the detergent dispenser used when manually adding detergent.

thanks, thats good so, so far we have established it is for adding washing detergent (though why can you not just add liquid to the middle compartment without this additional thing?)

and the other unanswered things:
Why did I not get one included with our machine when we bought it  and where do you get one from?
