Washing machine starting but stops after a minute

I have a MODEL:WD90N6450OX/EU

I did a wash and dry this morning and all was fine (washed bed sheets

After a few hours I tried to do another wash and the machine is silent for 30secs then make a whirling sound for 1min then then off.

I have cleaned the filter and wiped all the door seals. I have also tried different modes but each time the same thing.

There is no error message so stuck what to do. The earliest an engineer can come round is 2 week.

Anyone got any suggestions what I can do?

This can be caused by a blocked drain hose, a faulty pressure switch, a malfunctioning lid switch, a clogged filter, or a problem with the water inlet valve.

Honestly, besides turning it off for about an hour and then turning it back on to see if it is a software fault, I cannot imagine anything else besides an engineer coming out.

Try. Turning it off at the mains and try after a while

Sounds like the washing detects a blockage somewhere. I had the same issue, I found pouring some vinegar and boiling water down the drain and letting stand for about 5 mins, then try doing another cycle! It worked for me.. You could also do a hot wash cycle but without anything in the machine as that will help flush anything stuck in the pipe.
