Just purchased washing machine WW80CGC04DAE - What a poor user manual!

Can anyone please tell me what the leaf icon is

 and the wash tub in the temperature section

On my AEG the leaf means I have set a cycle that's echo friendly. Using less energy, washing at 30. Could be the same on your Samsung, but no mention of the leaf in the link. But I think it means the same.

Bottom one is machine cold wash. Top one could be an eco setting?

The leaf means AI Energy Mode is active. If you start a programme at 40⁰C, the machine will wash on cold but extend the wash time to deliver an equal result (apparently). Definitely turn it off for hygiene or heavily stained items.

On my model, it only works on temperatures between 20⁰C and 40⁰C.
