Washing Machine Drum Clean

Hi. It's come time to give my brand new washing washing machine a clean. The instructions tell you not to add any cleaning agents, the thing is though, I live in a hard water area, and, as far as I can tell, the cleaning programme doesn't do anything about limescale build up. Should I add something to deal with it? I've a multi-use washing machine/dishwasher cleaner.

Its best to follow their guidance to avoid any potential damage. However, there are ways to tackle limescale buildup but I would aways check directly with samsung before using.
