Washing Machine auto pauses after accidentally turning off the main power source.

My mother accidentally turned off the main plug of our washing machine (WW12H8420EW/FQ) a few days ago and now, she notices that the washing cycle pauses automatically everytime she washes at certain countdown timing and she has to manually resume them. Any idea how to troubleshoot?
