Samsung washing machine ww10m86dqoo ends every cycle without spinning UK

Our machine has started to skip the spin cycle regardless of which program it is on. I have tried everything from resetting the machine by turning power off overnight and cleaning filters, checking all the inlet and outlet pipes, check for error codes and none were stored. The machine completes the rest of the cycle as normal. Also checked the shocks underneath and all are in good condition as far as I can tell. All wires etc appear to be undamaged and all connectors that can be seen are fine. Also tried the Automatic diagnose feature  (AS) which checks all functions and ends in OK but nothing! The machine is supposed to have a 10 year warranty but when we booked for an engineer to come and check the machine, we received a message from a 3rd party stating that it will cost us £90+VAT for just the call out charge! Can someone help please? Thanks.

Edit: I also took the back cover off to look for some loose/broken bracket as suggested in some posts but did not find anything out of order. What I did notice was that at some point the machine had been pushed too far back resulting in the back cover being bent inwards causing it to rub against one of the motors and the centre bolt of the drum. I ran the machine on a spin cycle when the cover was off and it seemed to work just fine the first time around but on subsequent tries it resorted back to the original issue whereby it skips from 13 minutes to 9 minutes to 1 minute and ends the cycle.

Do you have any errors show up on the machine?
Wouldn't be because you have an unbalanced load?
Does the machine spin at all through a wash. Best thing to do is to see if the washing machine actually spins at all. Could be that the motor has burned out, or if it's belt driven, maybe a broken belt. Also make sure drainage isn't blocked. Could be an easy fix, if you knew what is causing the issue.

No errors at all and not due to unbalanced load either as it doesn't spin even if it's empty but it spins perfectly during the test mode.

Makes it more difficult, maybe worth getting an engineer out to have a look. That way you will know for certain what the fault is.

Tried that but unfortunately Samsung appointed 3rd party cowboy company who are only interested in making a quick buck! I'm just hoping someone will read my post and be able to shed some light on this issue! One thing is for sure; I'm never going to buy Samsung again!

It's got VRT M (with the ball balancers). Virtually impossible to have an unbalanced load on those models tbh.

Maybe that's what has gone faulty. It works on an empty load doing a test. But won't spin with a full load at the end. I'm no washing machine engineer, but it does sound like a fault with balance maybe.

Doubt it tbh. There's little mechanical stuff going on and mainly to do with physics. There's two plastic rings round the whole circumference of the drum - one on the back and one on the front and within that are a few metal balls in a very runny liquid (probably water tbh). As the machine reaches distribution speed or higher, the balls are essentially shifted to the opposite end of the load.

So basically, if there's this bulky item on the 12 o'clock position of the drum, the balls end up likely somewhere between the 4 and 8 o'clock position to essentially cancel out the imbalance as much as possible.

I'm surprised my Bespoke AI doesn't have it tbh, though it is being phased out in general. Plus, newer washing machine dampers are softer, in my experience.

There's a part of me that believes that the machine could be showing an early symptom of a PCB failure, and in that case, it would be best to buy a new machine. Maybe save and sell some healthy parts such as the turbidity sensor, door, filter etc. to make some money that way. A new good quality machine isn't cheap nowadays.

Oh I know, as long as the not so cheap washing machine lasts a decent amount of years. It's not so bad paying it.
