Spent almost $3000 on a Samsung Family Hub and it’s defective.

I purchased a family hub a little over five years ago. Several months after receiving it I had a notification for service to come out for the temperature. I had someone come out and they didn’t find an issue. Now we fast-forward to today my refrigerator is completely out  and is not cooling. My freezer is not cooling and the repair person says it’s a complete system failure. Contacted Samsung several times only for them to tell me that it was covered for five years and my warranty had just ended and there’s nothing they can do. On the front of my refrigerator is states 10 year warranty where they are proud to announce that on the compressor.  it wasn’t until now that I am fighting to get my item replaced. The implied warranty indicates that my refrigerator will continue to work Samsung customer service had been just rude and I have not received any help. Customer service said that they were going to offer me an accommodation and move my case to the replacement refund team. They asked me to text by receipt and other information from the service department that came out. And no one replies even though they said submitted there and they will respond. Here I am another day calling again to speak to someone else and customer store service to get a different story. This is frustrating after you spent all of your hard money for Samsung to just dismiss customers who Purchased their product. I need a new refrigerator or I need this one fixed and I need Samsung to take care of it.

Hi @MsGee1 ,  No doubt that it would be frustrating.

Noticed that you said "$" in the title. Which country are you based in?

Cheers, @MsGee1 . Me and the team here only have access to Samsung UK & Ireland systems, otherwise I'd have asked you to DM us to see if there was anything we could do from here.

Of course you're always welcome here, but there's also a Samsung US Community here too: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Community/ct-p/us?page=1&tab=recent_topics

Hope that it all gets sorted for you soon in any case.
