Philippines Service Center - Davao City RELEASING MY WASHING MACHINE TO SOMEONE ELSE WITHOUT GOING THROUGH PROPER VERIFICATION

Hello Samsung,

It is to my dismay and disappointment learning that you as a reputable company serving worldwide for over 40 years has not set proper protocols and processes specific to the safety of your customers purchased goods or items. Back in November 2023 I brought my washing machine to your Service Center in Rizal Extension Davao City. Due to my health conditions, I was not able to attend to all my transactions pending which includes claiming my serviced washing machine. I received a text from your service center that failure to claim the said washing machine will be subject to disposal (sell). Receiving this text that is alarming, one of my relatives tried to confirm this on my behalf. I got a confirmation from your customer service staff that they are not allowed to dispose customers belongings and that the only consequence is to pay for storage fee. It was only this month August that I have returned back home and was able to continue all pending transactions. I went to your service center to claim my washing machine and to my dismay, a staff told me that they have already released the said washing machine way back December 2023 which is totally untrue. I asked the staff if they have an IDENTIFICATION to whom they have released it and could not even find it in their system. I looked for log books for the said claim and they couldn't show me one. I am very frustrated as well as very disappointed because knowing that your company is a top brand, I entrusted my property to your service center knowing it will be safe and secured. Is this how things are handled by samsung? Like someone can just claim your expensive phones, laptops, appliances without your consent and without proper verification process? I waited for a feedback from the manager who was absent that day when I filed the complaint. I waited for a couple of days and no feedback or phone calls whatsoever to make me understand and be provided with options or any assurance that they are attending to my concern. Anyone who has the same experience? Please share so I would have an idea because I am close to take legal actions against samsung on this matter.
