Sock stuck in Samsung eco bubble filter!!

Hi 

I found child sock in my Samsung eco bubble washing machine filter! 

Model number: WD80TA046BE/EU

It's just under 3 years old!  

Is that normal? How can this happen? 

 

Fell much disappointed, it was possible to damage the pump !

It can happen, that's why the filter is in place, it can happen with most brands of machines. Sometimes a sock or smaller piece of clothing gets through. I seriously doubt this would have damaged your pump, usually if the water won't drain from a washing machine it means the filter is clogged up and needs cleaning. Really the filter should be checked every month and cleaned.
