Purchased our American fridge freezer model RS67A881159/EU series7.
It was delivered and plumbed in by the company we purchased it from, we were told to leave it unplugged for 4hours before powering it up which we did.
Since the night we had the fridge installed we have had a banging and rattling noise coming from the appliance, ( we actually thought some one was trying to kick down our front door the noise was that loud). This is a intermittent issue and we contacted the purchase company who wanted a video which unfortunately we cant do as we don't know when the noise is going to happen. When we now get the noise it is more of a cylinder rattling from the back of the fridge but still very loud as it wakes us up at night.
Samsung have sent an engineer who put diagnostic machine onto the appliance and we were told no issues were found.
Still have the same issue of loud rattling and banging noise and have now been told by samsung there is no issue and will not fix the issue.
Having had 2 previous samsung American fridge freezers with no issue, I am really disappointed with the service from samsung even though we have applied for the 5 yrs parts and labour they will not fully check our appliance.
Have to say, the appliance is working fine but the fact that there is this intermittent rattling/ banging noise which wakes us up is disappointing.
I will definitely be thinking twice when purchasing a samsung appliance.
