Hi,
I have a Samsung RSH1FBRS american style fridge. All is working fine except that the ice maker has stopped making ice. The water dispenser is working fine and i have tried the test button in the ice maker unit and it all works ok except for the ice tray which is not being filled with water. Please can you advise what I should do as this does not seem like a mechanical fault?
Regards, Barry

Sounds like you had the same issue I did. Look above the ice tray, there is a silicone filler tube. Mine was frozen with ice inside the tube. Took a hair dryer and heated it up until the ice fell out. Seems to be filling again. Cheers.

I have a Samsung Model #rf261beaeww fridge. The ice maker is in the bottom drawer/freezer. The water dispenser is on inside left wall of fridge. After a delayed water filter change (about 2 weeks) the ice maker has suddenly stopped making ice. Since filter change, the water dispenser is working fine and I hear the ice maker trying to fill with water. I have tried the test button on the ice maker unit and all works except for the ice tray. It still does not fill with water. Please, can you advise as to what I should try next?

Hi all
I have just got delivery of spanking new Samsung RS68N8941SL and I must admit that I find it extremly difficult to work with when it comes yo the basic stuff.
The delivery guys refused to do the waterline installation. So I had to turn my firdge freezer on so it has been on for last 48 or so hours.
Now guys came today and did the water installation and water comes out of the fridge but I noticed the ice tray does not fill up. It fills with a little water but not much.
This is so dissapointing.
1. I have checked the water line and all is good
2. I removed the ice collector and pressed the test button and it seems to be working the ice tray turned and some tiny bit of water filled up but not enough to fill the full tray.
Am I suppose to call Samsung and get an engineer out? I am sure this is due to installation and nothing to do with the fridge but if there was more info here on how to trouble shoot this it would be great.

Feejus,
I have the same exact problem. Did you ever find a resolution?

In my case it was a bad heating element around the ice maker fill line.

This totally worked for my RH22H9010SR. Much appreciated.
