We have a problem on our 4 month old RB38C602CS9 fridge freezer. I know what is causing it but I'm not sure how to resolve it on this appliance and 30 minutes on the line with support, it would seem neither do they.

We have just started to notice a smelly coming from the back of the fridge. I'm 100% certain that the condensation drip tray needs a clean and have pulled the appliance out and confirmed the smell is coming from the outlet vent.

Normally I'd just remove the tray that sits on the compressor tank and clean it but on this fridge, the back is enclosed. This article suggests that the panel can be removed and the tray removed and cleaned but this video suggests that the tray cannot be removed and suggest cleaning in situ.

Can anyone suggest what I should do to clean the tray as I suspect the smell will only get worse.

Thanks.
