Hello,
I've seen a few reports of people having issues with Eco bubble washing machines cutting out or not powering on.
Ours failed during a cycle and then the next day no power. Whilst waiting for the repair engineer over a few days our electric tripped. Thought nothing of it until removing the washing machine ready for the repair.
The plug smelt funny and on closer inspection the fuse had melted and scorched the socket.
This machine is just under 5 years old. I find it strange that some of the questions on the phone during the technical quiz of the problem related to scorch marks around the plug socket. The engineer arrived and replaced the electric cable and also blown controller board..... handy having the spares already on the van.
Have Samsung a problem with boards and electrics in these machines???? Will we see a pattern in the next few years and see a denial of issues like the Hotpoint fires??

Just experienced the exact same issue today. Machine stopped mid cycle so I preceded to unplug it and noticed the plug was fried and the wall socket scorched. Came on here and I am shocked to see hiw big this problem is. Did not expect this from Samsung. Always purchased Samsung as I felt they had an excellent reputation especially in regards to health and safety. Will need to contact an engineer now!! Not happy at all.

Still waiting on a repair to be undertaken. Samsung sent a technician out who spent 2 minutes taking a picture of the plug, socket and model number then left to make a report. Not impressed.

Hi I also have a Samsung 14kg eco bubble washing machine and this is the second time the fuse in the machine plug has been burnt out. The first time the same the machine cut out both times I thought it may have been a faulty fuse but it’s just happened again where it burnt out again and burn marks are on the plastic plug. As from this thread it seems to be a manufacture fault so I’m worried this could cause a fire. Samsung Please can someone come back to me as I want to get this matter resolved and my machine looked at. Many thanks

This has just happened to our machine. Stopped mid cycle, fuse burnt out. Replaced fuse and works again but scared of house fire. Advice welcome. Machine bought 2014 in UK.
