admittedly if might be a couple of months since I last cleaned it with a toothbrush and hot clean water - but look at it now! . WW90T534DAW Autodose Washing Machine series 5
I would just like to point you to the Advertising Blurb on the Currys website for the machine :
"- A Stay Clean drawer and Eco Drum Clean function gets rid of any detergent build-up"
ah right yes... a stay clean drawer - very interesting!!
And this off of the official Samsung site for this machine:
in reality this is what you get - it does not look clean to me!:
Don't always believe everything you read and don't believe the hyped up manufacturers advertising! - no problem at all if they say "we stand by what we say (or advertise) or your money back" - but they don't, once you have bought it that's it you are on your own!
Machine is just over a year old and I am happy with it on the whole - its just that when you do your research and certain features do not live up to their expectations when you read the advertising blurb ... well you do feel like you have been done over a bit or had or duped into buying!
our water is not really that hard where we are at all, the kettle in the kitchen doesn't seem to furr up and there is no limescale around the taps or sink. - so its a bit surprising there is quite a bit of limescale in the drawer housing

It is but it is a newer model - introduced in summer 2022
ooh right - must have changed the design ... maybe because of all the trouble they had with the previous design?
Does your design make 'glug' 'glug' 'glug' noise as it takes in the detergent and fabric softener?

mines the same design as yours I think (I must get my old toothbrush out tomorrow and clean that mould and limescale again, done it not so long ago , amazing how it gets bad quickly) - yours is nice and clean compared to mine

Hello. I wonder if this problem is related to the presure of the water that suplies the machine. Could be a cloged small filter inside the conector that is closest to the machine ?

I think mould forms more in a warm moist environment rather than the cold water pressure - and when you are washing I would say when the heater in the tub warms up during washing a certain amount of moisture and condensation travels up on the inside of the big rubber black pipe that runs from the outer plastic wash tub to the soap dispenser housing and its drawer and because there is hardly any ventilation in the soap drawer housing it then turns into mould - there is also another small rubber pipe on top of the outer plastic wash drum at the top that leads to the soap dispenser housing , not quite sure what that function is for, but again some moisture from the drum when its heating up the water could travel up that pipe to the soap dispenser housing maybe?
