Dv90n8288ax tumble dryer randomly beeping/chiming while drying

Hi!

my tumble dryer has started to randomly beep/chime whilst drying several times and then stops give it a few mins and it’s going off again several times, the same beep it makes when you touch the screen to start/pause. When it does this my app notifies me that the “smart control of your dryer has been altered” when looking at the machine nothing has changed and there are no error codes on the screen. Tumble dryer is drying fine but the random beeping is driving me absolutely crazy!! It honestly sounds like it’s trying to have a mini rave in my home!!

Try properly clean all the filters and condenser and it should go way. This is just a guess and that's what I would do if I was on your position. Hope it helps

@Elle-xo: Further to the advice offered by @klod-lohja, can you check to see if the 'Check Filter' and 'Heat Exchanger Clean' alarm symbols are highlighted. These look like grid symbols, and can be found below the time on the digital display. If they are highlighted, please have a look at the handy guides below.

If the above isn't applicable, check the Smart Control button to see if it blinks when the chiming occurs. If it does, you might want to try removing the Dryer from your SmartThings app, and re-adding it to see if this helps.

Got to say mine has started doing this and I've cleaned all the filters to ,so there is something wrong with it no error codes on the machine
