Does a WW80CGC04DAEEU Series 5 Washer have a half load setting?

Hi

Just bought a Series 5 eco bubble washer and overall I  am impressed, BUT one thing that my wife keeps on commenting on is that, unlike her other Washing machines, the WW80CGC04DAEEU doesn't seem to have a "half load" option/button or program?

I said it probably weighs the dirty washing & then switches to a  half load setting itself, but she is not convinced!

Any advice or info is appreciated!

yeah, its got a water level switch inside the machine so will switch off the water when it gets high enough for the load - the more washing you have in the drum the water level/pressure switch will adjust the water (and therefore time as the heater has to take longer to reach and add on more second/minutes to fill up with extra water) .

You could also look at instructions and see what weight is recommended for a particular wash cycle - so say if you have a 8Kg drum washing machine, but you put the machine has a quick wash, well a quick wash in the instruction book might say the max is 4Kg ... there is your half load right there.
On the other Samsung Models (WW90TXXX) in the display window it will say the Kg for the wash , so 9kg max or 4Kg, or sometimes even 2Kg max for the particular wash) - in effect it will use less water, less heat less washing time , ideal if you just have half a drum load of washing that is not too heavily soiled and want a quick wash.

Good luck
