We have cotton towels that are less than a year old. I put them on the eco (40~60) wash and dry cycle which lasts 7 hours.
I have done this 3 times since getting the new washer dryer.
The towels have now shrunk considerably.
We used to be able to wrap them round us comfortably, now they only just wrap around us. We didn't eat that much over the holiday period.
Our Miele washer dryer didn't used to do this, although that could only dry 2.5Kg whereas this one can dry about 6kg.
I cannot see any setting on a wash + dry that allows me to dial down the heat.
Has anyone else found this issue?

my ww90T534DAW has a specific Towels cycle on it I am pretty sure. The cycle chooses the right amount of drum rotation and washing time, temperature, correct level of water in the drum , correct rinses and correct spin drying .
Have you checked the temperature level on the glass door with the back of your hand for eco 40-60 wash it barely gets warm I think , maybe if its washing in cold water or near enough cold that might be causing shrinkage?
