I bought a Samsung dishwasher in Aug of this year 2024 two months later it started to rust inside, I called the warranty department since I have a manufactured  warranty, they sent a Samsung tech out to determine the damage, the tech came out and stated my dishwasher needs to be replaced it should not be rusting it is a brand new appliance, the tech called in to report to Samsung warranty his report, and they was asking questions as if they was tying to find a reason not to replace the dishwasher even the tech was shocked, they asked  if I was the homed owner which has nothing to do with situation and  ask if I have a softener in my water and the tech explained weather she does or not his is brand new dishwasher it should not be rusting, warrant department refused to replace dishwasher and is trying to have me come out of pocket , i inform home depot of the situation they even agreed they need to replace it that its a defect they contacted the warranty department and they still are refusing even tho there is a warranty regarding  defect on there part. Now i have a brand new dishwasher I am unable to use, I have also reported them to betterer business bureau and I will take it to the next level till they take responsibility and replace this dishwasherDISHWASHER.jpg

@Corine6: I'm very sorry to hear of your disappointment surrounding the outcome of your recent engineer's inspection. As you have mentioned Home Depot and the Better Business Bureau, am I right in assuming that you are based in the USA or Canada? Please note that you are currently through to the EU Samsung Community, therefore it won't be possible for us to escalate your query from this position. While I appreciate that you have already been in touch, please continue to liaise with the Samsung Support Team in your region, as they are in the best position to explore any possible, alternative resolutions.

Wow, this is troubling. I am sorry you are having these issues. I think of replacing my cooker and TV. But it appears to be having this problem with all its appliances .

I have previously always bought samsung . But after seeing vedios of their Technicians damage TVs and then refuse warranty, I will be looking for a new brand.
