hi

we are getting this sound when doing a normal eco wash, it doesn't go on for long (a few times each lasting a few mins).

we are not getting any error codes and clothes are being washed fine, it sounds to me like a relay or solenoid clicking on and off rapidly.

does anyone know if its an issue that needs us contacting Samsung under warranty ?

thanks

@phil3370: Are you only experiencing the issue on the Eco Wash cycle? Have you tried checking the drum for any loose foreign objects?

There are no loose objects in the drum, not sure about other programs as we usually just use eco , I will see if it happens the same on others .

Try opening the drainage sump at the bottom of the machine (it will be hidden by a flap on the front of the machine, usually). The sump cover will look like a circular dial - unscrew this anticlockwise until you can withdraw it from the machine. You might find the cause of your issue in here - probably a coin. Don't forget to lay a towel down before you do this, since there will be some residual water when you undo the sump cover. Once you have cleaned out the sump filter, screw it tightly back in place.
