Cleaning outside door

Hi, we took delivery of an American fridge freezer and where the sellotape was stuck to the outside of the fridge door it’s now left a sticky residue which is proving difficult to remove. Does anyone have any idea what cleaning materials I could use without risking damaging the outside door - it’s brand new.  Any offers of help, hints, tips etc gratefully received.

Try using some Duct Tape to pull off the sticky residue.

Hello and welcome. I also had this behemoth, but only had you issue on the clear internal accessories.

Not saying it official but I normally use Dettol surface wipes

De Solv It Sticky Stuff Remover removes sticky residue. But make sure you wipe over with water to remove all traces of the solvent.

I use warm water and Microfiber cloth or as mentioned detox wipes or bit of detol mixed with warm water and cloth.
