Hi,
Does anyone have an6 good tips on how to clean beneath the cool looking but dirt collecting clear plastic cover of the washing machine door?
it is just big enough for a toothpick to get into but not a cloth.
thanks!

Hi I’ve managed to get through to Samsung about this and they agreed to send out an engineer as I also had another issue with my machine. They said that normally the warranty wouldn’t cover anything cosmetic but as they agree it is a design flaw they replaced my whole door so might be worth contacting them again. I asked for suggestions on how to clean it and stop dirt from building up again and he just said to try wedge a bit of card in the gap to scrape the crumbs out or seal the gap with sellotape all the way round the top of the door so nothing can drop in. Not really a great solution but it’s the best I’ve got and no sign of a replacement machine so sellotape it is!

So, my husband and I just cleaned ours with a small sharp knife point and a wet-wipe. We found cardboard too thick, paper tissue too tearable. I suggested a feeler guage (for checking spark-plug gaps) but we couldn't find one at home. We're having a new kitchen and didn't want the horrible mess of the washer door spoiling the new look. Really not spending on a new washing machine just for the sake of a dirty door. Must seal it now!
Hope it helps someone. 😊
