Hi. I bought an autodose machine at the end of Jan. We are using so much detergent compared to manually adding it. This morning I filled the compartment and its half empty after just one wash. I've got it set to x1 concentration as I'm not using extra concentrated detergent. Am I doing something wrong? How often is everyone else filling their autodose compartment?
The softener side seems to be fine.

I have 2 washing machines SAMSUNG WW11BB744DGBS3 11 kg and 9 Kg Class A.
I always use auto dose And to be honest i never had any problem. On 1st installation i set detergent to High and softener to Low without playing with additional settings.
And my machines Runs 7-8 cycles with a full detergents/softener Tanks
I usually used super fast / 15min quick & cotton options.
I always set Rinse 1-2 times, temp 40, spin speed 1200-1400
I buy medium range detergents/softener not too much cheap or expensive and it lasts long.
Conclusion! If your washer runs out of detergent/softener before 7 or 8 cycles then there may be something wrong. Because my both washers have good average of liquid consumptions and im using them since 3-4 years.

I have had my auto dose washer for just over a year and go through so much softner.
I had turned all the levels down as others suggested. But just noted this:
I had a load of newly cleaned washing waiting to go in the dryer, whilst waiting I topped up all the levels. When I took it out I realised that softner had poured into the machine even when it was not on. Taking the tray out I could see there was softner just leaking out of the rear of the tray.
I cleaned it all up and noticed that at the back where the washing liquid and softner dispenses from the back looked different.
Long and short is that about 9 months ago I found a small plastic ring in the filter which I took out - had no idea where it was from and saved it.
I put this on the back of the softner part and it made it look like the wash liquid part so I think this part was never connected properly and eventually came out allowing softner to dispense continually until it emptied. I cannot imagine how much this has cost me over the year in softner.... as it has literally just leaked the full compartment out
Washing now being done again and I will see how much it has actually used...
Feeling annoyed......

Hello exactly the same issue here. I forked out for this machine 6 months ago thinking the whole auto dose tech would be ideal. Turns out not so, in fact a nightmare. Clothes smell overwhelming of softener and so they should with half of the drawer of concentrated used on 1 cycle a time! Played with all the settings on each dispenser and water hardness and ran on many cycles with a factory reset. I even altered the legs on the machine as i thought it might be at a slight run angle and the contents runnings into the drum would be the case. Nothings worked, phoned Samsung they didnt even get back to me. I wish i never brought this machine

Yeah same I expected much more from a big company like Samsung , I just use the detergent manually now I use half a tablespoon or less ,if I use more it doesn’t use enough water to rinse all the soap out , also on cotton cycle it resets the rinses to ‘2’ every time even if I put a heavy load in , my old cheap 6kg machine was better .

To clarify the booklet is wrong the concentration setting 1x 2 x 3 X is backwards ..3 X is strongest I've experimented and so has my neighbour..no smell on setting 1 X changed to 2 much better and 3 is super smelling clothes everytime 👌
Thanks . I am going to give that a try - be nice if someone from Samsung support could fortify this too
