Galaxy Watch 6 - Show map route from walk

How do I view my walking route on a map on the Samsung Health app on the phone? I have only been able to view it on the Watch's Samsung Health App. Since you can see it on the watch, shouldn't you be able to see it on the phone aswell?

Hi @hajo7å1!

You can only see the map on workouts that you have started manually. You can find this by opening the Samsung Health app > Click on workout this week > Click on a workout that you have started manually and the map will appear as well as other information about that workout session.

I started manually the trekking exercise and when I finalized I saw the map in the watch but is not appearing in the mobile app. I tried where you said, and it gives me a lot of info but not the map

If you have followed these steps but still cannot get the map, we recommend that you contact our customer support, they will be able to investigate why it is not working for you.

I found a workaround for this problem. And it IS a problem with either the Samsung Health App or the part from Google inside the Samsung Health App on the phone, because the Watch6 shows the map with the complete route.

The problem: when looking at the preview map or the full map in the training record on the phone, it just shows the starting point as a race flag pin.

The workaround: if I choose "Save route" from the context (three dots) menu, the full route is shown!

This is my current workaround, still hoping that Samsung fixes the preview map view...

Hi, I have the same problem with as mentionned (galaxy 6 and S24), does Samsung is aware of this issue and will correct it?

This feature was working untill july 2024.

Same problem. I switched from a Garmin Instinct to a Galaxy Ultra watch phone, and same issue.

This is a SERIOUS omission from Samsung...not sure how you have an Ultra watch and phone combination, but in 2025 no map!!!
